Robert Gordon Pottery is extremely honoured to be working with the Juluwarlu Art Group, and the work of artist Jane Cheedy, to release this exclusive collection for Myer.
A celebration of culture, language, and pottery; the story of the Yindijbarndi people of the north-western Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Jane Cheedy is a respected Yindijbarndi Elder, cultural custodian, linguist, and artist. Jane is dedicated to preserving and sharing the Yindijbarndi language, and has work for many years as a Yindijbarndi language teacher at both high and primary school levels.
Jane’s artwork often features written Yindijbarndi text, oral recordings of songs, and depictions of the Yindijbarndi plants, animals and important sites.
Use for this beautifully carved tray is endless. Whether you use it to feature as a part of your table setting or as a stunning decorative piece, either way it will definitely be a talking point and admired by all who see it.
